Copyright Notice

Author-retained copyright with a clear right of first publication and CC BY-SA 4.0 reuse terms.

1. Copyright Ownership

Authors who publish in FUADUNA: Jurnal Kajian Keagamaan dan Kemasyarakatan retain copyright in their work. Publication in the journal does not require the author to transfer exclusive ownership of copyright to the journal or publisher.

2. Right of First Publication

By publishing with FUADUNA, authors grant the journal a non-exclusive right of first publication and permission to identify FUADUNA as the original place of publication. The journal may publish, preserve, index, distribute, and communicate the Version of Record as necessary for scholarly publishing and preservation.

3. Open License

The published Version of Record is licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International License (CC BY-SA 4.0), unless a specific item is clearly identified as subject to different rights.

Under this license, others may share and adapt the work, including for commercial purposes, provided that appropriate attribution is given, the license is linked, changes are indicated, and adaptations are distributed under the same or a compatible ShareAlike license.

4. Author Reuse and Distribution

  • Authors may deposit the published article in institutional or subject repositories.
  • Authors may share the article on personal or academic websites and lawful scholarly networks.
  • Authors may reuse their article in a thesis, dissertation, book, teaching material, or later collection, subject to acknowledgement of the original FUADUNA publication and preservation of third-party rights.
  • Authors may enter into additional non-exclusive distribution arrangements that do not conflict with the CC BY-SA 4.0 license or the journal's right of first publication.

5. Third-Party Content and Permissions

Authors are responsible for obtaining permission for third-party material when required and for supplying accurate credit lines. The journal's CC license does not automatically relicense material owned by another rights holder. Reusers must inspect article-specific credit lines and obtain permission when the intended use is not covered by law or the stated license.

6. Moral Rights, Attribution, and Integrity

The CC BY-SA 4.0 license does not remove the obligation to credit authors or misrepresent modifications. Reusers should preserve accurate attribution, identify the original article and DOI, indicate modifications, and avoid implying endorsement by the authors, FUADUNA, or the publisher.
