ACCESS, RIGHTS & VISIBILITY

Open Access Policy

Immediate, permanent access to FUADUNA scholarship under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International License.

Open access model
All FUADUNA articles are available to readers immediately upon publication without subscription, registration, or embargo. Open access to reading is distinct from publication charges: any author fee is stated separately in the journal's Author Fees information.

1. Immediate Open Access

FUADUNA provides immediate and permanent open access to its published scholarly content. Readers may access the full text without a subscription or access charge. The journal supports broad dissemination of research and the lawful reuse of published knowledge.

2. License

Unless an individual article states otherwise for legally necessary third-party material, the Version of Record is published under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International License (CC BY-SA 4.0).

  • Share: copy and redistribute the material in any medium or format.
  • Adapt: remix, transform, and build upon the material for any purpose, including commercial use.
  • Attribution: give appropriate credit, provide a link to the license, identify the original FUADUNA publication, and indicate whether changes were made.
  • ShareAlike: adaptations must be distributed under the same or a compatible license as required by CC BY-SA 4.0.
  • No additional restrictions: users may not apply legal terms or technological measures that restrict others from doing what the license permits.

3. Author Rights

Authors retain copyright in their work and grant FUADUNA the right of first publication. Authors may enter into separate non-exclusive arrangements for distribution of the published work, provided the original publication in FUADUNA is acknowledged and the applicable license is preserved.

4. Self-Archiving and Repository Deposit

Authors are permitted and encouraged to deposit appropriate versions of their work in institutional repositories, subject repositories, personal academic websites, and other lawful scholarly archives. When sharing the published Version of Record, authors should include the article citation, DOI or stable journal URL, and the CC BY-SA 4.0 license notice.

5. Third-Party Material

The CC BY-SA 4.0 license applies to material for which the authors or journal have the right to grant that license. Images, data, archival material, or other third-party content may be subject to separate copyright, privacy, cultural, contractual, or permission restrictions. A credit line or rights notice associated with third-party material takes precedence for that material.

6. Machine Use and Text/Data Mining

Lawful computational use, indexing, text and data mining, linking, and machine processing of openly licensed content are permitted to the extent allowed by the CC BY-SA 4.0 license and applicable law. Reusers remain responsible for attribution, license compliance, privacy, and third-party rights.
