What the APC Supports

  • Editorial administration and manuscript workflow management.
  • Similarity screening and publication-ethics checks.
  • Management of the double-blind peer-review process.
  • Copyediting, layout, proofreading, and online production.
  • DOI registration and metadata deposit.
  • Open-access publication and long-term digital preservation.
  • Journal-platform maintenance and metadata dissemination.

Payment Procedure

  1. No payment is required when a manuscript is submitted or while it is undergoing peer review.
  2. After formal acceptance, the corresponding author receives an official invoice or payment instruction from the journal/publisher.
  3. Payment must be made only through the official payment channel stated in the invoice.
  4. The article enters final production after payment verification, subject to the journal's production schedule.
  5. Authors should retain proof of payment for administrative verification.

Editorial Independence

Payment of the APC does not guarantee acceptance and must not influence editorial or peer-review decisions. Manuscripts are assessed on scholarly merit, originality, methodological quality, ethical compliance, and relevance to FUADUNA's scope. Editors and reviewers do not receive authority to alter decisions because of an author's ability or willingness to pay.

Waiver and Refund Policy

Waivers: FUADUNA currently does not operate a general APC waiver policy. Any future waiver scheme must be publicly announced and applied independently of editorial decision-making.

Refunds: once payment has been verified and production has begun, the APC is generally non-refundable. Refunds may be considered for duplicate payments or an administrative error attributable to the journal or publisher.

Policy note. This page should be read together with FUADUNA's Focus and Scope, Peer Review Process, Publication Ethics, Copyright and Licensing, and other applicable editorial policies. Where a conflict arises, the most recently approved journal policy applies.
