Copyright and Licensing

Author-retained copyright and right of first publication
The copyright owner, publishing right, and reuse license are stated separately so that authors and readers can understand who owns the work and what reuse is permitted.

Copyright ownership

Copyright remains with the author(s). By submitting and publishing an accepted article, the authors grant Islam Realitas the non-exclusive right of first publication and the right to identify itself as the original publisher of the version of record.

Publication license

The version of record is published under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International License (CC BY-SA 4.0). The license permits users to copy, redistribute, remix, transform, and build upon the work for any purpose, including commercial use, provided that proper attribution is given, changes are indicated, a link to the license is provided, and derivative works are distributed under the same license.

Author self-archiving and secondary distribution

Authors may enter into separate non-exclusive arrangements for distribution of the published work, including deposit in institutional or subject repositories or inclusion in a later book, provided that the original publication in Islam Realitas is acknowledged and the reuse is consistent with the CC BY-SA 4.0 license and any third-party rights.

Third-party material

Authors are responsible for identifying content that is not covered by the article's Creative Commons license and for obtaining permissions where required. A figure, table, photograph, map, dataset, or other material carrying a different rights statement must retain that statement and cannot be relicensed by the journal without authority.
