PEER REVIEW

Reviewers

Acknowledgement of subject experts supporting independent scholarly evaluation.
The reviewer roster should contain scholars who have formally served or are currently appointed as peer reviewers. Selection for an individual manuscript is based on subject expertise, independence, availability, publication record, and absence of conflicts of interest. Public acknowledgement of the reviewer pool does not disclose which reviewer assessed a particular manuscript under the journal's double-anonymous review model.
Identifier audit: duplicate names have been removed and several incorrect displayed Scopus IDs have been corrected by checking the underlying profile links and independent scholarly sources. h-index values are omitted because they are dynamic and not required for reviewer identification.

Reviewer Responsibilities

  • Provide a substantive, evidence-based evaluation of the manuscript's originality, scholarly contribution, theoretical or conceptual framing, methodology, analysis, interpretation, and relevance to the journal's scope.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality and protect the identities and unpublished material of authors and other participants in the editorial process.
  • Declare any financial, institutional, professional, personal, or intellectual conflict of interest before accepting a review assignment.
  • Do not upload manuscripts, manuscript excerpts, supplementary files, or confidential editorial correspondence to generative-AI systems, and do not use AI to analyse, assess, or draft the peer-review report.
  • Avoid coercive citation requests, discriminatory comments, personal attacks, and requests that serve the reviewer's own interests rather than improve the manuscript.
  • Notify the editor promptly of suspected plagiarism, fabrication, falsification, duplicate publication, citation manipulation, undisclosed conflicts, or other integrity concerns.
Reviewer recognition and auditability
The public reviewer list is an acknowledgement roster, not evidence that every listed reviewer assessed every issue. Actual review activity should remain traceable in OJS and be auditable for accreditation purposes. Reviewer names, affiliations, identifiers, expertise, and recent publication records should be reviewed periodically, and inactive reviewers should not be retained solely to enlarge the public roster.
Transparency note: Scopus/SINTA/ORCID identifiers on this page identify individual scholars and do not indicate that Islam Realitas itself is indexed in those databases. Affiliations and identifiers should be reviewed at least annually and whenever an appointment changes.
