Revenue Sources

USRATY: Journal of Islamic Family Law operates under an open-access publishing model. The journal's primary source of operational revenue is the Article Processing Charge (APC) paid by authors whose manuscripts have successfully completed the peer-review process and have been formally accepted for publication.

The Article Processing Charge is used to support the journal's editorial and publishing activities, including manuscript administration, copyediting and production, digital publishing infrastructure, DOI registration and maintenance, website and journal management, digital dissemination, and other activities required to maintain the quality, accessibility, and sustainability of the journal.

USRATY does not charge readers any subscription or access fees. All published articles are made freely available online immediately upon publication in accordance with the journal's Open Access Policy.

  • Submission Fee: IDR 0

  • Peer-Review Fee: IDR 0

  • Article Processing Charge (APC): IDR 2,000,000

  • Payment Stage: Only after the manuscript has been formally accepted for publication.

Authors are not required to make any payment at the manuscript submission or peer-review stage. The obligation to pay an APC arises only after an editorial decision of acceptance has been issued.

Editorial Independence

Revenue received through Article Processing Charges does not influence manuscript evaluation, peer-review outcomes, reviewer selection, or editorial decisions.

All manuscripts are assessed exclusively on the basis of their scholarly quality, originality, methodological or analytical rigor, relevance to the aims and scope of USRATY, compliance with publication ethics, and recommendations resulting from the peer-review process.

Payment of an APC does not guarantee acceptance or publication of a manuscript, and the editorial team does not provide preferential or expedited editorial decisions in exchange for payment.

The Editor-in-Chief, editors, and reviewers perform their editorial responsibilities independently from financial considerations related to the journal.

Financial Transparency

USRATY is committed to transparency in its publishing and financial practices. Information concerning author charges is made publicly available through the journal website before authors submit their manuscripts.

Any significant changes to the journal's Article Processing Charge, funding model, sponsorship, institutional support, or other sources of revenue will be disclosed transparently on the journal website.

The journal's financial model and sources of revenue shall not compromise editorial independence, research integrity, peer-review standards, or decisions concerning the acceptance or rejection of manuscripts.

For complete information concerning publication charges, authors are advised to consult the journal's Article Processing Charge (APC) Policy.
