As part of its commitment to providing open access to high-quality scholarly research, USRATY : Journal of Islamic Family Law applies an Article Processing Charge (APC) of IDR 2.000,000 for each article accepted for publication.

The APC contributes to the costs associated with the scholarly publishing process, including peer-review administration, editorial management, copyediting, formatting, publication, and digital archiving. It also supports the journal's open-access model, ensuring that published articles are freely accessible to readers worldwide without subscription or access fees.

Payment Procedure

The APC payment procedure for manuscripts processed for publication in USRATY : Journal of Islamic Family Law is as follows:

Payment must be made to the official bank account stated on the invoice sent to the corresponding author's email address. Authors should not make payments to any account other than the account officially stated on the invoice.
The APC of IDR 2.000,000 is paid in two stages:
First Payment: IDR 1.200,000
The first payment is made when the manuscript has passed the initial editorial screening and is approved to proceed to the external peer-review stage. This payment contributes to the administration and management of the peer-review process.

If the manuscript is subsequently rejected following peer review or editorial evaluation, the first-stage payment is non-refundable.

Second Payment: IDR 800,000
The remaining payment is made after the manuscript has been formally accepted for publication and is ready to proceed to the production stage.

The Letter of Acceptance (LoA) and publication process will be completed after the remaining APC has been paid in full.
After completing each payment, the author must submit proof of payment through the payment confirmation form. The confirmation URL will be provided together with the invoice by email.

Important: Payment of the APC does not guarantee acceptance or publication of a manuscript. Editorial and peer-review decisions are based solely on the manuscript's scholarly quality, originality, methodological rigor, relevance to the journal's Focus and Scope, and compliance with research and publication ethics.

Open Access: Articles published in USRATY : Journal of Islamic Family Law are made freely available online, allowing readers worldwide to access, read, and use published research in accordance with the journal's open-access and licensing policies.
