Mathematics learning is a process of giving and receiving mathematical concepts between educators and students. In early childhood, the process of learning mathematics must be done with fun because at that age children learn through play. However, on the other side, it turns out that the COVID-19 pandemic occurred resulted in a significant impact for PAUD teachers in the teaching process, especially those experienced by teachers at PAUD in Payakumbuh City. The results of this study indicate that there are dynamics experienced by PAUD teachers in teaching, especially in applying fun mathematics learning to their students, including: 1) changes in children's behavior that are increasingly difficult to interact with, 2) lack of children's motivation to learn and socialize, and 3) the lack of teacher knowledge regarding the importance of fun mathematics learning methods in inculcating good mathematical concepts in children.
