UNCANG : Journal of Sharia Banking and Islamic Finance is a double-blind peer-reviewed journal published by the Faculty of Economics and Islamic Business, Universitas Islam Negeri Sjech M. Djamil Djambek Bukittinggi, Indonesia. It publishes high-quality research articles, literature reviews, and conceptual papers that contribute to the understanding and application of Islamic financial principles in contemporary contexts (see Focus and Scope). The journal is published biannually, in June and December.

Since its establishment in 2025, Journal of Sharia Banking and Islamic Finance has consistently provided a reputable platform for academics, practitioners, and policymakers in the field of Islamic finance. In 2025, the journal adopted the Open Journal System (OJS) and became registered with Crossref, enabling all published articles to be assigned a DOI for long-term citation and global accessibility. The journal is indexed by Google Scholar, Moraref, Garuda, and See More.
