Al-Hurriyah: Jurnal Hukum Islam is a double-blind peer-reviewed journal published by the Faculty of Sharia, Universitas Islam Negeri Sjech M. Djamil Djambek Bukittinggi, Indonesia. Since its initial publication in 2003 in printed form under the name Al-Hurriyah, the journal changed its name in 2016 to Al-Hurriyah: Jurnal Hukum Islam and has been managed through the Open Journal System or OJS. The journal has also been registered with Crossref, and all published articles have DOI numbers.
This journal enthusiastically welcomes submissions from scholars and researchers in related fields who wish to contribute to advancing academic discourse. Knowbase aims to advance theoretical understanding and practical innovation in the modelling, integration, processing, analysis, and utilization of data, information, and knowledge. Particular attention is given to research that supports intelligent decision-making, system optimization, automation, and technological innovation in the era of Big Data and Artificial Intelligence. The journal encourages studies that connect academic research with real-world applications in industry, government, education, healthcare, business, and other data-intensive sectors.

USRATY : Journal of Islamic Family Law is a peer-reviewed academic journal dedicated to advancing critical, comparative, and interdisciplinary scholarship on contemporary Islamic family law. The journal welcomes original research that examines the transformation of Muslim family norms, institutions, and practices in relation to legal reform, social change, gender justice, child protection, digital innovation, and the interaction between Islamic law, state law, customary law, and international human rights norms. The journal gives particular attention to Islamic family law in Muslim-majority countries, Muslim minority contexts, and transnational Muslim communities and encourages studies that combine normative Islamic legal analysis with socio-legal, anthropological, historical, comparative, political, and technological approaches. The journal is aimed at spreading the research results conducted by researchers, academicians, and practitioners in the field of Contemporary Islamic Family Law. The articles of this journal are published bi-annually; January-June and July-December. Since 2023, USRATY: Journal of Islamic Family Law use platform and workflow by Open Journal System (OJS) 3.3 and has been registered with Crossref, ensuring that each published article is assigned a Digital Object Identifier (DOI) to support long-term citation and accessibility. The journal is also indexed in various databases such as Google Scholar, Moraref, Garuda, and other reputable indexing services. The editorial team welcomes original contributions which have never been published or considered for publication by any other publishers. It provides an academic platform for scholars, researchers, lecturers, students, and practitioners to exchange research findings and critical perspectives on the development of Islamic communication and da'wah in local, national, and global contexts.
Al-Jamahiria welcomes empirical research, theoretical studies, and interdisciplinary scholarship related to Islamic da'wah studies, Islamic media and communication, religious communication in Muslim societies, digital da'wah and online media, Islamic communication theory, broadcasting, media culture, and Islamic discourse. Priority is given to manuscripts that demonstrate originality, methodological quality, theoretical contribution, and relevance to contemporary communication and da'wah issues.
All submitted manuscripts undergo an initial editorial screening for relevance, originality, academic quality, and compliance with the journal's guidelines. Eligible manuscripts are evaluated through a double-blind peer-review process involving at least two expert reviewers. The final publication decision remains the responsibility of the Editor-in-Chief and the Editorial Board.
Beginning with Volume 4, Number 1 of 2026, manuscripts submitted to Al-Jamahiria must be written in full English. The journal is published twice a year, in June and December, and is nationally accredited as SINTA Rank 3. Its scholarly content is discoverable through academic databases and services including SINTA, Google Scholar, Garuda, and Moraref, while published articles are registered with Crossref and assigned individual Digital Object Identifiers.
Al-Jamahiria provides immediate and permanent open access to all published articles.
