This study aims to analyze the process of internalizing the values of moderate Islamic education through a systematic moral internalization approach, referring to four core stages: value comprehension, self-reflection, habituation, and social application. Employing a library research method, this study examines classical and contemporary literature and analyzes relevant prophetic traditions (hadith) as pedagogical foundations.The findings indicate that the internalization of values in Islamic education hasa strong basis in the Prophet’s hadiths. At the stage of value comprehension, the hadith emphasizing that good manners are the best gift a father can give his child highlights that character education must begin with understanding moral concepts. The self-reflection stage is illustrated by the hadith about a young man who sought permission to commit adultery, demonstrating that reflective dialogue is an effective strategy for fostering moral awareness. In the habituation stage, the hadith instructing children to be taught prayer at the age of seven underscores the importance of repeated practice in shaping discipline and character. Meanwhile, the stage of social application is reflected in the appointment of Usamah ibn Zayd as a military commander, showing that internalized values must be manifested in social responsibility.This study concludes that value-internalization models grounded in hadith effectively cultivate a moderate Muslim character that is ethical, reflective, disciplined, and socially contributive.
