About the Journal
Krigan: Journal of Management and Sharia Business (e-ISSN: 3025-7603) is an open-access, peer-reviewed scientific journal published by the State Islamic University of Sjech M. Djamil Djambek Bukittinggi, Indonesia. The journal serves as an academic forum for researchers, practitioners, and scholars to publish high-quality scientific works, including empirical research, conceptual analysis, and literature reviews in the fields of management, business, and Islamic economics.
All manuscripts submitted to Krigan are evaluated through a double blind-review process to ensure impartiality, objectivity, and academic excellence. The journal is committed to promoting ethical publication practices and to advancing Sharia-based perspectives in management and business studies. Krigan aspires to contribute to the global discourse on Islamic management and business by integrating modern business concepts with Islamic values and principles.
The journal is published twice a year (June and December) and accepts manuscripts in English and Bahasa Indonesia. Through its commitment to scholarly rigor and accessibility, Krigan: Journal of Management and Sharia Business provides open access to knowledge and encourages collaboration among academics, professionals, and institutions engaged in the development of Islamic economics and business innovation.

⚖️ Journal Policies
1. Open Access Policy
Krigan: Journal of Management and Sharia Business provides immediate open access to all its published content, based on the principle that freely available research enhances global knowledge exchange. Readers are allowed to read, download, copy, distribute, print, and link to the full text of articles without prior permission from the publisher or the author.
2. Peer Review Policy
Each submitted manuscript undergoes an initial editorial assessment followed by a double blind-review process involving at least two reviewers with relevant expertise. The review process emphasizes transparency, confidentiality, and academic objectivity to ensure the highest publication quality.
3. Publication Ethics and Malpractice Statement
Krigan upholds ethical standards based on the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) guidelines. Authors, reviewers, editors, and publishers are expected to adhere to integrity, fairness, and professionalism. Acts of plagiarism, falsification, data fabrication, redundant publication, and unethical authorship are strictly prohibited.
4. Plagiarism Policy
All manuscripts are checked using reputable plagiarism detection software. Articles containing plagiarism of more than 20% similarity will be rejected or returned for revision before consideration for publication.
5. Archiving Policy
Krigan employs the LOCKSS and PKP Preservation Network (PN) systems to guarantee long-term preservation and digital archiving of all published content.
6. Copyright and Licensing Policy
Authors retain the copyright of their work and grant Krigan the right of first publication. All articles are published under a Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike (CC BY-SA) license, allowing others to share and adapt the work with proper attribution to the original author and source.
