KOMUNIKASI BERKESAN MEMBINA SAHSIAH PELAJAR

Communicating effectively viewed as one of the elements that should be included in the learning process. Therefore educators play a key role in effective communication practice in teaching and learning. This article will discuss the formation of the personality of students through effective communication in teaching and learning process. This article can also give an overview to the educator that the application of effective communication is important and can influence personality development of students. While the character or personality by personality or personal terms mean (Kamus Dewan, 2001, 1169). Personality also refers to the tendency of individuals behave. This means that every individual is no way to act of its own and a way of acting that is more or less the same from day to day. From the above definition, it can be concluded that the reference to the character and personality of the individual measures depending on the circumstances, situations and environments. Therefore personality self-confident and able to lead to excellence in academics and beyond will prevail leadership traits in students. Komunikasi secara berkesan dilihat sabagai satu elemen yang penting yang perlu ada dalam proses pembelajaran. Oleh sebab itu pendidik memain peranan penting dalam mempraktikkan komunikasi berkesan dalam proses pengajaran dan pembelajaran. Artikel ini akan membincangkan mengenai pembentukan sahsiah pelajar melalui komunikasi yang berkesan dalam proses pengajaran dan pembelajaran. Artikel ini juga dapat memberi gambaran umum kepada pihak pendidik bahawa pengaplikasian komunikasi yang berkesan amat penting dan dapat mempengaruhi pembinaan sahsiah pelajar-pelajar. Manakala sahsiah atau personaliti mengikut istilah bermaksud keperibadian atau peribadi (Kamus Dewan, 2001, 1169). Sahsiah juga merujuk kepada sistem kecenderungan bertingkahlaku individu. Ini bererti setiap individu ada cara bertindak yang tersendiri dan cara bertindak itu adalah lebih kurang sama dari sehari ke sehari. Daripada definasi di atas, dapatlah dirumuskan bahawa sahsiah merujuk kepada perwatakan dan tindakan individu bergantung kepada keadaan, situasi dan juga persekitaran. Sahsiah dan jati diri yang teguh mampu membawa kepada kecemerlangan dalam akademik dan seterusnya akan terserlah ciri-ciri kepimpinan pada diri pelajarReferences
