Abstract

Indigenous issues related to inheritance of traditional values is a separate problem faced by many villages in West Sumatra. Pagadih as one of the villages in the district of Agam also experiencing this, it is necessary for a solution to address this problem. This study tries to elaborate further on the issue of the changing dynamics of indigenous villages in Pagadih salingka, try a few things resolved in this study is the first to provide insight to the tribal elders that the inheritance of traditional values to the young nephew went well, as well as from the niece able to carry out the commands of mamak, both provide insight to indigenous elders neighbor function in society, the third is to revive traditional institutions that have complete responsibility for the inheritance of traditional values.
