In nature, the reality of people’s lives is a plural, changing and dynamic reality. Dynamics can be driven by a plurality of culture, ethnic, religioun, ideology, social politics, and economic interests. In this pluralistic society, conflict often takes place. Pluralistic conditions of Bukittinggi society that has existed many years ago opens big opportunity for social conflict. It could be caused by several factors such as economic inequality, culture, and different religion / beliefs between migrants and natives. Therefore, it is necessary to have an interaction pattern between Chinese ethnic with the locals. From the analysis result of the interaction pattern among Chinese ethnics, it was concluded as follows. (1) There has been harmonious relations between Chinese and local community  in Kampung China ( Chinese Districts) Bukittinggi  in terms of economic, social, and religious matters. It happens because Chinese community in Bukittinggi do not regard this region as their adopted land, but it has been regarded as their homeland with the fact that they have been living there since hundred years ago from their ancestors. In addition, Chinese people generally never go back to their ancestor land in China. (2) The pattern of relations between two parties viewed from the social interaction approach and religious approach demonstrates three patterns; associative interaction patterns, assimilation patterns, and accommodation patterns.
