About the Journal
Journal of Sharia Banking and Islamic Finance is a refereed academic journal dedicated to the exploration and development of knowledge in the field of Islamic economics, banking, and finance. The journal aims to advance scholarly discussions on the theory and practice of Sharia-compliant financial systems, covering topics such as Islamic banking operations, fintech in Islamic finance, zakat and waqf management, sharia auditing, and regulatory frameworks in the Islamic financial industry.
Since its establishment in 2025, Journal of Sharia Banking and Islamic Finance has consistently provided a reputable platform for academics, practitioners, and policymakers in the field of Islamic finance. In 2025, the journal adopted the Open Journal System (OJS) and became registered with Crossref, enabling all published articles to be assigned a DOI for long-term citation and global accessibility.
